Privacy Policy

This policy describes the data handled while you browse Tier Versus, use its features, or submit a public list or matchup.

1. Browsing data

Cloudflare infrastructure receives technical request data such as your IP address and the URL requested. Google Analytics also receives information about pages visited, language, browser, and device to measure site usage. The page URL sent to Analytics may include query parameters, such as terms entered in the site search.

2. Cookies and local storage

Your browser may store your chosen language, tier list drafts, and other preferences. In Google Analytics, the _ga cookie distinguishes users and the _ga_<container-id> cookie maintains session state. You can clear cookies and local data in your browser settings.

3. User-submitted content

To submit a community tier list, the form requires a display name and email, along with a title, language, description, selected items, and any optional links. The email is stored with the submission record and is not shown on the public page; the name, title, language, description, selected items, and supplied links may appear there. The public battle form asks for a name, reason, and participants but does not ask for an email. When automated content review is enabled, the tier list submission details, including the email address, may also be sent to the service that performs that review. Do not include personal information in a title or description.

4. Third-party services

Cloudflare provides the site infrastructure; Google Analytics measures usage, and Cloudflare Turnstile may check forms and votes. Other providers have their own policies.

5. Embedded videos

Public shared lists may embed YouTube or Vimeo players. When an external player loads, its provider may receive technical data from your browser. See the privacy policies of Google, including YouTube, and Vimeo.
