The Full Smash Remix Roster, Ranked

Smash Remix keeps the twelve original fighters exactly as they were and builds a much larger roster around them. That makes the top of the list familiar: Pikachu and Kirby still dictate the pace, Falco fits the engine as if he had always been there, and the boss-style bonus fighters tower over everyone else. The middle of the roster is where the mod gets interesting, with Mario, Bowser and Banjo & Kazooie trading blows around a deep group of newcomers.

Every Remix Newcomer, Ranked

Eighteen Remix newcomers join the original twelve, and the best of them feel native to the Nintendo 64 engine. Falco leads the group, Wolf and Marth are close behind, and the four characters created specifically for the mod — Conker, Marina, Goemon and Crash — give the roster its strangest and most memorable picks.

The Original 12, Ranked

The original twelve have not changed, so their order is still shaped by Smash 64 strengths: Pikachu and Kirby set the pace, Captain Falcon and Fox stay close behind, and Ness closes the group. Smash Remix adds alternate colors and regional variants, but the core matchups remain the ones players already know.

Bonus Fighters, Ranked

Bonus fighters are the wild cards of Smash Remix: boss versions, clones and characters that never belonged to the Nintendo 64 era. Giga Bowser, Metal Mario and Super Sonic are deliberately overpowered, while the likes of Mad Piano, Dragon King and the Fighting Polygon Team are picked for spectacle more than for serious play.
