The Complete Unova Pokédex, Ranked
Unova's 156 Pokémon are a strange bunch: the fastest bugs in the series, a coffin that eats dreams, and a legendary dragon for each version. This board ranks the full Unova Pokédex as it appears in Pokémon Black by how much each one earns a place on a team, from the early-route picks that carry a playthrough to the box legends waiting at the end. Black's Reshiram sets the ceiling, but Excadrill, Volcarona and Conkeldurr prove a regional dex does not need a national one to feel complete.

Unova Starters, Ranked from Snivy to Samurott
Unova gives you three starters and no easy answer. Snivy trades early power for Serperior's speed and Contrary tricks, Tepig becomes the hardest-hitting Emboar, and Oshawott turns into the bulky Samurott that can mix physical and special moves. This board ranks all nine starter forms by how well they hold up through a Black playthrough, not by first-route cuteness.

The Strongest Pokémon in Unova
Unova is not short on heavy hitters. Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem sit at the top of the raw power curve, Landorus and Genesect dominate competitive play, and Volcarona can sweep a team after one Quiver Dance. Below them, Excadrill, Conkeldurr and Bisharp show that Unova's mid-tier threats hit harder than most regional dexes' aces.

The Cutest Pokémon in Unova
Unova's cutest designs are not all early-route filler. Minccino's dusting habit and Emolga's flying-squirrel glide make them easy favourites, Oshawott's scalchop gives it a nervous charm, and Litwick is adorable right up until you remember what it eats. This board leans on design and personality rather than battle value.
