Every Rainbow Road, Ranked
Every Mario Kart ends on a road with nothing between the track and the stars. The SNES layout is still the blueprint and has been rebuilt for four later games; the Wii version stretches the finale to a long, fast run and the Wii U course adds anti-gravity to the idea. The DS and GBA editions keep their own twists, and the two RMX remixes from Tour plus the arcade Rainbow courses close the family.

Super Mario Kart (1992): All 20 Courses, Ranked
The 1992 course list set the template every Mario Kart still follows. Mario Circuit 3 has been reused more than any other layout in the series, with six games to its name, and six more of these courses have each returned in five. The ranking below weighs that staying power against how the flat turns of the original hold up today.

Mario Kart World splits its line-up between brand-new routes and returning layouts: fifteen courses make their debut in the open-world engine, while twenty-three courses come back rebuilt for it.
