Keith returns to the RIS to investigate Killer B, but Lily refuses to let him turn the case into a one-man operation. Koku’s search has a more personal pull: each new crime is a message meant for someone he still hopes to reach. Yuna gives him a glimpse of the quiet life he keeps missing.

Power
Koku can change into the winged figure known as Killer B, while Keith’s best weapon is noticing the clue everyone else missed. The RIS brings the force of law, but the case keeps drawing in people with abilities and histories the police cannot contain with a warrant.

Cute
Lily brings enough energy to make a grim police office feel human, and Yuna is the person Koku can relax around when the case finally lets him. Kukuri’s warm presence is a welcome change from the show’s crime scenes; even Keith’s patience with Lily counts as a small soft spot.
